PupperJack is just testing this blog out to see if he can post something. Testing, testing, testing!!!

There’s a new greyscale colouring book out: Greyhounds and Whippets: Three : a dog lover’s greyscale colouring book (Amazon UK | Amazon US).

It contains 36 unique greyscale images based on original hand-drawn and watercolour-painted Susan Alison designs of greyhounds and whippets going about their slim dog business. Like they do.

(If you’re looking for a traditional line art colouring book with svelt dogs, here’s one: Great Greyhounds & Wonderful Whippets – A dog lover’s colouring book (Amazon UK | Amazon US))

This blog has waited five years for me to remember it...

Having been advised to start a site for Susan Alison writer rather than Susan Alison artist, I tried to get SusanAlison on blogger only to be told there was one already and I couldn't have it.

Oy! I thought - who's got MY blog name??? So I went to have a look and it was me...

I started this blog in September 2006 and that's the last it saw of me - that's five years ago. Eek! Poor old blog...

I'd better see what I can do with it now I've remembered it again. I can only say - "Thank you for still being here, blog!"

I will try to make it up to you. I will. Honest. Have some flowers as a 'sorry'.

Watch more telly!

Every writer should watch telly. Lots of telly. It allows your thought processes to work in peace while you're actually gawping at the box, and it allows your subconscious to pick up good ideas for future use.

Yes, watching telly is very good for current and for future work.

Of course, if you're doing NaNo you won't have time to watch telly, but all that telly-watching in the past will stand you in good stead for doing NaNo now.

Writers have it made, really. They can justify doing absolutely anything for the experience of it. And all experience is valuable for a writer.

Yeah. Watch more telly.

Time for a blog

Writing and dogs go well together.

Dogs like it if you can earn a living writing because then you're at home all the time with them. Writers like having dogs around to be polite about their writing.

Yeah. It works well.
